The Megascope is authored by myself, Dr. Megan Fitzgerald. I hold a PhD in Neuroscience and Neurology. The primary focus of my current research is in the area of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. However, I’m also passionate about many other scientific topics that range from microbiology to behavior.

As well as being a biologist, I’m a mother, yogi, gardener, swimmer, tree-hugger, and animal lover (which are all just biology viewed through other lenses).
